FKA twigs（本名：タリア・バーネット）は、90年代インディバンド「The Twigs」との商標権をめぐる争いで3月20日に提訴した。バーネットは2024年以降、同バンドのメンバーが何度も差し止め請求書を送付し、彼女のステージネームの使用を阻止しようとしていると主張している。同バンドは700万ドルの支払いを要求。10年以上の継続的な使用により商標権を確立していると主張するバーネットは、陪審員裁判を求めている。2014年に一度は「FKA twigs」に改名したが、その後10年間バンド側から異議がなかった。FKA twigのスポティファイ月間リスナー数は320万と圧倒的に上回っており、まったく異なる商業領域で活動していると弁護士は指摘している。
