Daft Punkが2年前の解散から5周年を迎え、「Human After All」の新ビデオを公開した。映像は彼らの2006年のSF映画「Electroma」の未使用映像を使用し、ヘルメット姿のメンバーたちがフェラーリで砂漠を走る場面が特徴。最近、Thomas Bangalterがパリで16年ぶりのDJプレイを実施し、「Human After All」のリミックス盤初のビニール版もリリース予定。さらにフレンチタッチはUNESCOの無形文化遺産に登録され、ミラノ冬季オリンピックではDaft Punkの楽曲が使用されるなど、解散後も活発な活動を展開している。

Someone Great followed by All My Friends is a solid 1-2 gut punch to the feels. I gave this album to my mother for Christmas one year and pitched it to her as the new generation's Talking Heads and she absolutely loved it.
