Armin van Buurenが米国初開催となるA State of Trance Festivalの計画を発表しました。ロッテルダムで毎年開催されている同フェスティバルの北米エディションについて、単一ステージではなく、複数ステージを備えた本格的なフェスティバルを実現したいと述べています。メロディックトランスからハードテクノまで、幅広いジャンルをカバーする5つのエリアを計画中。トランスが音楽全体に浸透している現状を踏まえ、クラシックアップリフティングトランスへの敬意を保ちながら、メロディック、エモーショナル、アップリフティングな音楽性を軸に展開する予定です。
